Well we are getting dangerously close to the end of our open water season.Higher elevation lakes are now frozen or well on the way. Anything that is open can and usuallywill fish well right up until ice on.  Remember to use a slow presentation as the fishes activity level drops with the water temperature.  Leeches under indicators are a great way to achieve this end.

Worms just off the bottom seem to be working quite well on Nicola Lake.  Bait under a bobber should work well wherever it is allowed. It won't be long until we are testing the ice for safety.
